We all get angry, and we all get moods at times. But pills and drinks arent the way to correct the situation. You can 'burn off' moods and anger with physical activity. Go for a run, go play basketball, go do anything that gets your heartrate up for a while.
Then check out some anger management systems, because that's what is going to help you keep your life on an even keel so you don't have to cope with fits of anger or with moods.

Anger and mood. I would suggest like the rest anger management classes but the other route you could take is seeing a therapist and they could diagnose you and possibly give you the proper pills because this anger and mood change may be something more serious being a mental situation. I happen to take pills for my highs and lows and I am 100% better. I suggest you try the therapist and see how it goes from there.

Anything you 'take' will help you to feel calm for a short period of time, but won't help you in the long run. The best thing would be to see a councellor (sp?) and work through the issues in your past. I'm a teacher and see a lot of angry kids who just don't know how to deal with their feelings and often it's because there are (or have been) issues at home. Visualisations (a form of relaxation / meditation) can be helpful too. I've also just heard of a herbal product which you spray onto your tongue when you feel yourself getting stressed or angry and it helps to calm you down. Hope this is helpful!

Drinking will tend to relax your social restaints and you will tend to do things that you might not when you are sober. Depression is the repression of anger, so you need to have an acceptable way to vent. Beating the snot out of pillows is acceptable. I have event known people to tie a tire to a tree or pole and take a baseball bat to it.

If this doesn't help, think about talking to a doctor or joining a group. You aren't alone out there.

Try the amino acid Taurine. It is good for calming moods. I use it and it works great.
