Is it giving a hateful response to someones display of pain?
Is it giving money, or toys, coats. Helping serve a meal to the
homeless a couple days a week?
When you see a drunk with his hair standing up on his head, and
he blows his booze breath in your face?
Do you make an ugly face, and turn away from the ugliness?
Or do you treat him like a human being who is pain?
When you can treat a derelict on the street as you would the
ambassador of another country. You will know what charity is.
Because that derelict is an ambassador of your Creator on
High!
Thank you for these words Holy Spirit!

Charity from the private sector alone will never solve these social ills. Vote Democrat.

Charity isn't love. Most people love out of need. Most never mature to wanting to love. I love you when you meet my needs. It's like praising God when there is provision. What do you do when there's no provision? I suggest and it is only a suggestion that people stop looking to his hand but to his heart. It is my observation that people give to get. Instead of get to give. By letting God and letting go. Graciously you have received and graciously you shall give. To be needy is to be powerless. When I selfishly meet my own needs then I can unselfishly meet the needs of others. No one likes to be powerless.

Ummmm....I'm not really understanding much of what you wrote - but Charity is giving without expecting anything return.
