Probably because you act nervous, desperate, and act like you have low self-confidence. Lack of eye contact gives women the impression that you are a loser (or that you are looking at her boobs).

Some of them probably do not have a clue as to how to react, because they do not get asked out that much, so they act crazy. Some of them probably like the feeling of power. And some of them probably were just in a bad mood when you asked, because some immature dorks have been hitting on them all night.
Anyone who feels the need to be rude is usually suffering from low self-esteem. Next time that someone is rude, just look them in the eye and say, "I am sorry that you have such low self-esteem that you feel that you have to be rude to people."

Be yourself. if you have to change for them then they won't like the real you. you won't be bale to completely be yourself. I heard a very wise person say that when your not looking for something you'll find it. for example when your looking for a certain book, you always seem to find everyother book. you should work on school, your job, your faith, your hobbies, instead and be yourself and somebody will see you for who you are and what maybe the thing those girls sees as a bad thing another will see as the best thing.

Make a searching inventory of your personality. Do you believe that girls should submit to their men, or do you believe in equality? Do you like sex on the first date, or are you willing to wait a while? Are you attractive and well-groomed, or are you 300 pounds and unshowered with flies buzzing around your head? Think of anything that might possibly make you unattractive and try to improve upon it.
