put some pennies in a pop tin and go outside with the dog(s). Every t ime they bark bang the tin against something and say NO... it works amazingly well.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/J27jk
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

To the smart b utt that said stop being lazy....sometimes training does't work!!!!! Our dog is 8 and wev'e been batteling this for yrs! Yes part of it is his nature but it gets out of control.
I am debating on getting an ultrasonic clicker that omits a loud pitched noice. It's not a shock!
To add....I brought him to a good trainer too!!!

yes my daughter has a sheepdog and a greatdane and she has collars for both of them and they really do work she works long hours and the dogs stay outside they love it

quit being lazy and take your dog to a trainer to make him stop barking.
