They are also known as level 2's (GCSES). Contact your local college and they will let you know more details. Learn direct also offer the course. I have just completed a level 2 and a level 3 (in different subjects) at my local college. I am 30 and haven't studied for a while and found them really interesting. Its never too late to learn

the best thing to do is go through your local council authority. most of them offer cheap part time courses that are in the evenings for about 3 hours a week. They're really good. You could use a college but at GCSE level wud prob be full of school dropouts. Alternatively try a distance learning college such as NEC if you think u can put the work in and cope by yourself, but these are REALLY expensive, my 2yr alevel course cost £2-300 pounds.

you can take them as evening courses at your local community college, it's never to late to try something new i wish you luck.
