You talk to him and tell him that you want to remain friends even if it does not work out between the two of you. Let him know you care about him as a friend AND as more than a friend at the same time, and you want to try dating with friendship as a fallback plan. If both of you are up for it, it worked for me. We are VERY close friends six years later!

You should really think about this. He is 17 and you are 14. He is probably and has been probably sexually active, I am hoping sincerely that you haven't been. He is going to be 18 soon, a legal adult, and the two of you can not LEGALLY be together. Perhaps you should just continue your Best Friendship and when you turn 18, then take your relationship to the next level so no one gets hurt or in trouble. Blessed be..........

At forteen you are still very young to make boy freind type of thing. Theres nothing wrong in having freinds when you are matured enough to do so provided it does not lead you into having sex which is a sin.

Strong friendships build the better foundations for stronger relationships. When you guys are so close already, know everything about eachother, and like eachother why not? You have the trust, friendship, and love built up already. Listen to your heart. But he already told you how he feels, so if you regect him, your already risking ruining the friendship. Because he will feel like a fool.

Try talking to him about this problem. And if he is a good friend he'll understand ask him if he well continue to be friends no matter what. If he reponds the way that you want him to then it will hopefully work out.
Good Luck

It is better to have love and lost then not to love at all. You need to either move forward and take a chance or keep things as they are. Take the risk as it appears the reward outweighs the risks.

Tell him how u feel. he may understand and agree. What i think u should do is let your relationship move slow. Dont instantly consider each other boyfriend and girlfriend. Go out with each other but dont do any more then just kiss.
