Islam is all abt peace n love..
u shud luv thy neighbor..
u shud luv ur parents..
ur wife.. ur children
ur fellow beings
animals.. birds.. even plants (Allah ordered not to cut trees even in a state of war)
but LUV Muhammad n ALLAH above all:)
but love that involves girlfriend/boyfriend thingy is NOT allowed in islam .. since NO relatioship out of marriage is allowed in islam.. if u really like someone.. get married ... dont get into affairs etc...

Allah didn't say that love haram but love in chastity way ... don't think in things that Allah dislikes it or do it until you get married.
