Some people miss their past..some people don't want to let things go and push to keep up the contact when if you are meant to stay in touch, you will...He probably wants to keep the memory alive..but it is up to you whether you talk to him..he probably wants closure on the situation and to make sure that there is no friction between the two of you...hope that helps......!! :):)

Well there's nothing that says you can't still be a friend. I mean some people make better friends then bf / gf . Not saying you should become best friends but you can at least say hello. Unless of course the break up was due to him doing something that really hurt you and if that was the case and he can't figure out why your not talking to him then I'd have to say let him figure it out ;o)

Well this may depend on who decided to let the relationship go. If you did, then he may still have feelings for you and he never got over the breakup but the reality in that is, he is married and if he still has feelings then it is best to keep your distance. If its the other way around and he wanted to break it off with you, then screw him, most men don't realize they have a good thing til its gone... So he just missed out and that's his lost.

you know you can still be friends with someone you once went out with and they can be the best friendships ever, cos ya both know where you stand. Mabye he is just a nice guy, give him a break ,talk to him ,see what sort of a vibe you get off him.He is probably quite happily married. If you think he is after a fling...well,you're in control girl.

He could feel the same as you, perhaps he regretted that you two split up, also. It is possible. The only thing is, life happened for him. It's OK, happens to everybody. You can always make yourself feel better by telling yourself: "well, at least I'm not his ex-wife".

Just because your love relationship is over doesnt mean your friendship is over. He obviously liked you more then as a lover but also as a friend and he must want to keep a friendship with you.

He prolly only said that to your mom because he couldn't think of anything else to say. It's not like he's gonna tell your mom how wonderful his wife is. He had to talk to her about something they have in common....you.

He still cares for you. Just because he's married now doesn't mean that you can't still be friends. You two have a history together. Just be his friend.
