Friends who occasionally sleep together when they're both single. Also, the best relationship anyone can ever have with the opposite sex (assuming they're straight, because the definition changes a little when you're gay).

A friendship where you are also sexual partners rather than both of you enjoying a period of abstinence - aka. fcukbuddies. Whilst it might work for some people, there is always the latent risk that one falls for the other one whilst the feelings are not reciprocated.

A friend who is opposite sex, that allows me to perform certain actions that friends don't normally do. You know, the 'things' that you do with a girlfriend or with a girl you meet at a bar, which are more physical than verbal. And by physical I mean sexual. And by sexual I mean *******.
