Basically, there is no golden rule and no hidden formula.
Acknowledge that
1) You are a sinner(we all are) and that you
need a saviour to save you from your sins.
2) Accept that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins
3) Receive the free gift of salvation that only comes through Christ's death on the cross(through the shedding of his blood)
Once you have done this, begin attending a bible-believing Church.
Ask God to lead you to a good church.
Pray and read God's word. Once you receive Christ, you also
receive the gift of the Holy
Spirit. This enables you to live a victorious life.
Preach the gospel to as many people as God leads you to.
Worship Him. Honour Him. Love Him. You will receive
eternal life.
There is no golden rule, no magic, just plain truth..
God bless.

DO unto others what you would have others do unto you.
But more important is the platinum rule. Love the lord God Almighty with all your heart.

That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with he hear man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
And love your neighbor as yourself

Matthew 5:3Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

6Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

7Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

9Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
