BECAUSE WE ARE NUT'S!!!!!! You must not play the game or you wouldnt ask that question...I play in rain, sleet, hail, tornadoes, hurricanes, and my mother-in-laws bad breath. It's not a game, it's a way of life.....

Golf in Billings- 100+ degrees June-August to 10 degrees below on SuperSnowBowl Tourney Sunday. I do the cold golf thing regularly!!! Proud owner of 3 marriages and 2 divorces. If temps keep you off of the course, then maybe you're not tough enough for golf!!!!

Funny thing, I was just out playing golf Saturday. It was 45°.
Golf is a very relaxing sport. Especially in the fall. The grey sky and rain clouds can get depressing, so it is nice to go out and see the beautiful scenery of the trees changing color.
Plus, it gets you out of the house. Spouses, kids, family... They all just drive you nuts sometimes. It's feels good to take your anger out on the ball.

Celsius? Why Not. If they love golf, stay hydrated and don't over exert themselves if it far more interesting than sitting in an air conditioned house moaning about the heat at 30 degrees Celsius. At 30 degrees centigrade not many golfers play primarily because golf courses close when we have frost to protect the course.

Ahhh, because I live in Detroit.
Also, I don't have to wait 10 minutes while the "pros" line up their putts.
Oh yeah, I forgot, because it's GOLF!

not to mention with 4 inches of snow on the ground like we did in Chicago and midnight tournaments.
Why do they have car races in the rain? Why do they play football in blizzards? Why do they cut holes in the ice to fish?
It's a guy thing.

Because the weather or temperatures don't bother them. They're GOLFERS. I've never understood it - but I guess it's just something they do. Or maybe it's because they've paid their greens fees and they want to get the most playing time for their money lol
