It is obvious that this girl wanted to be alone with me. Her friend came up with an excuse and left, and I was left alone walking with her. She also kept coming up with reasons and places for us to go as we walked to keep the conversation going. What were her intentions?

Her intentions were to get to spend some time alone with the person she likes. As in _likes_ likes. If you're interested, ask her out. I'm fairly sure she'll say yes.

coming from a girl myself,i pretty sure her intentions were to let you know that she trusts you and wanted to be alone to see if you would make the first move.

She most likely has an interest in you. She didn't think you would have felt comfortable if she asked you to take a walk with her by herself, so her and her friend obviously set you up for that. She likes you, and wants you to see it. Give her a chance!
