I personally don't have a name tattooed into me. However, I do have tattoos and just remember that they are permanent. The tattoo isn't going anywhere for a long time. Also, remember that if you break up with this person then you are going to have to explain to your next boyfriend what this name means. When you are 80 and with your husband who might not be this guy you will have to explain to your grandchildren whose name this is.

Never would I tattoo a BF's name not even a husbands. I think that is just asking for it to end, then what do you do!! No new man will ever want to look at it and be reminded of an ex.

My ex had my named tattooed on his chest.. nice and huge.. which i advised him not to get it. Now even though he has had it covered... you can still make out my name. Dumb as*. I told him not to and that he would regret it... yup i was right.

I would never ever in my whole life do something so stupid. People change, relationships change, you never know where you and that person are going to be in a week or even a year. You will regret it at some point in your life.

every one that every did this that I know is divorced or not together, however you might think about getting tattoos together (different things of course)
