cats seem to always want to play in their litter boxes I don't know the reason for it

Get a covered litter box. Cats are curious and play with some of the weirdest things, but this will keep your floors clean.

It's a mystery to us all. Mine does. Try to keep it away from their toys, but don't yell at them when they do it. They might stop using the litter then, and well...that could be a bigger problem. Good luck:)

My cat would take his toys in there, I don't know why, then one day he stopped, so maybe your cat wil too.
