How can you style a synthetic wig?

Do not use excessive heat, it will melt the synthetic hair. Quality synthetic wigs come with a pre-set style.

I had a wig last year for halloween and I put rollers in it but not steamed rollers and it worked really well

Try hot rollers - call the beauty supply house they should be able to tell you what setting would work best.
