My best friend and i have been on the same level as guys... but recently she got together with this really nice guy. But now i feel that she is going to experience a lot and im just going to be on the same level as i was. I dont know if its just the guys at my school or is it my personality or what... What do you think? Am i jelous of my friend getting a boyfriend or do i just want the same thing... a nice guy that likes me for me and treats me right.

First of all I got to tell you that you've got balls coming out with this fact. Reality is that lots of girls and women feel the same way about their friends.
However, your're not the type of girl any good guy should date. At least not until you get over this phase. For you it is more important to have the same or better than, what your friend has. It says quite a lot about you, and boooyyy its scary.
Be with someone because you like him, he likes you and both are happy enjoying one another in a healthy relationship.

It's not a contest. If you expect a guy to treat you like something precious to him, act like it. If he treats you unkindly or unthoughtfully, don't have anything to do with him. You understand that no guy is better than a jerk right? Hold out for a good one (who, by the way, may not come exactly in the packaging you think is "cool").

Strange but I was in the same situation once...My friend had a boyfriend and I was stuck in a rut, never changing...Actually, it felt as though nothing was happening for me...In time though, I met a really nice guy. Be patient, you too will meet someone who will help you to change.
