The biosphere in scientific jargon would be the part of the earth's atmosphere, land, water, etc wherever life is sustained.

The biosphere was also the name of an enclosed ecosystem laboratory located outside of Tucson, Arizona.

The "hydro"sphere is water, the "cryo"sphere is ice....so the "bio"sphere is composed of biological or *living* things! Yup, *you are* the biosphere! So is your cat, the algae on the fish tank, the roses out in the yard....

We live in the biophere. bio = life the sphere of life there fore it is the part of the earth where life exists
