I guess today is a day for questions about what and how much children should eat. As a mother of 3 sons and a baby on the way, I have done quite a bit of research on this subject. Here is a site with easy to read/comprehensive information on both bottle intake and solid nutrition. I would never tell a person to go against their doctor, but maybe a little bit more information wouldn't hurt you.
This first one is about the bottle intake:

Every baby is different. My son eats 6-8 oz a feeding. My daughter never went above 6oz and that took her until she was close to a year to get up to. At 7 months, she was eating about 4oz, but not more than that. She was, and still is, in the 2-3% for growth, so I stopped looking at other people's kids to judge her height and such... she's on the small end of the class picture, and so she's not going to eat as much as the other kids in order to get the energy she needs. So long as she's developing fine, it's better for her to have what she wants, and not more than that, so that she doesn't expand her stomach and it decreases the chances of overeating and obesity. It's fine and normal and perfectly okay.

Does your pediatrician know exactly how much she's eating each day? Maybe she's just too full for that many bottles. 7 months is pretty early for stage three foods- if you think she isn't getting enough milk nutrients (calcium), maybe you can cut back a little on the solids. Really- if her weight is good, and she's drinking 12 oz of milk a day, I see no reason to worry. My ped has given me instructions on all sorts of things that were more just...opinions. My theory: you're the mom- you decide what advice to take.

As a mother of 2 grown children and grandmother of 3 beautiful grand children I think you should relax..... she will eat and drink what she needs when she needs it. Don't be so quick to think that the doctor is always right, maybe she doesn't need the milk. By the way spaghetti-os are full of sodium, fat and preservatives I would be more worried about her eating that than not getting enough milk.

Each child is different. And I won't worry too much about it. Also long as she is putting on weight and appears alert and bright why worry. Those are only guidelines - and not every child falls into the guidelines. If your MD isn't explaining this to you then I suggest get a new one, because if you keep looking at guidelines and your child doesn't fit into the norm you'll drive yourself crazy. No infant has even been known to die from self-starvation. The kid will eat when they are hungry and will eat only the required calories their bodies need no more - they aren't like us adults who eat to clear the plate - they eat only what they need.

WOW...5 bottles a day with all that food...I wouldn't be hungry either. Try giving her juice in the a.m. and try milk at other feedings.
