I joined Curves about 8 months ago.....I have been working out pretty consistantly, however, I still have yet to loose some weight....I weight 120lbs, I am 5"2 petite and I would like to get down to my ideal weight of 110lbs....Any suggestions as to what I should do? I don't starve myself, I eat pretty regularly....What am I doing wrong? Should I cut down on the machines and do more aerobics?

Dear Angela,
here's the deal. You should really forget about your weight and concentrate on how you feel.

Weight can increase if muscle mass increases.

You should really keep on lifting weights and using machines so that you can keep strong and build muscle ( don't worry, u won't get bulky, especially if you're petite.)

Building muscle will help increase your metabolism and help you burn more calories even while at rest...

It is much better to have your weight consist of more muscle mass than body fat.

Eat 5 small meals a day, follow a routine in exercising, lift weights, and you'll see the great results.

BTW, you're perfectly fine but it's all up to you.. good luck

Wrongs may also be exceptional among cultures and will difference through the years. Some cultures suppose that targeted meals have to be ready in a targeted approach and it's mistaken to do in any other case. That mistaken my have developed earlier than refrigeration was once to be had and so would possibly not be relevant. Even so, there might be a few who comply with the culture simply given that it labored for earlier generations. For folks who believed within the necessity for racial purity a few folks it was once mistaken to have included faculties, shared eating places and loos. For folks who believed in male superiority, it was mistaken for ladies to count on identical pay. For populations that had been death given that of sickness or dying in battle and traditional crisis, you'll be able to think that homosexuality was once discouraged given that it diverted sexual vigour from replica. I suspect that for those who assess the ten Commandments you'll discover that every was once defined to deter movements that tended to have unhealthy outcome for the ones societies at the moment and most likely nonetheless does. In many circumstances, simply as you have got defined and to the constructed global of the twenty first century, those unhealthy outcome look rather logical. In Biblical instances, only some understood the common sense or had the knowledge. Moses was once very clever certainly and knew that the lengthy ache Tribes might certainly not have believed he would in my view have such knowledge but when he defined those because the phrases of God, good . . . . . .

I am in Curves as well. The same thing happened to me. Don't give up, keep at it and you'll hit your goal weight. Be patient you are just at a plateau right now, but it won't last forever. Since Curves is only 30 min. try getting in another 30 min. of cardio exercise.

Continue the exercise and cut back a little more on the calories. Your body has adapted to what you have been doing, so you need to change things. It also wouldn't hurt to change your exercises around every couple months too (if you haven't been already).

I know it sounds crazy but trust me to speed up your matbolism it has to constantly be going and if your eating small meals then your body will keep burning it. You are building muscle, which weighs more. You have to eat better, and switch to more aerobics.
