well they are not that secret, every government agency posts a notice of the sell in the legal section of the local news papers.

My son bought a few cars last week, they were about 2002 and 2003 with 100,000 miles or so. They were all old police cars and city department cars. They sold for 600 to 1000 dollars.

The government doesn't reposses vehicles, finance companies reposses vehicles. When they do, if they are worth anything they are sent to public auctions that are heavily advertised. Most of the ones offered are as is and where is.

They are not secret you can call the courthouse they will give you all the information you need. Sometimes thye have catalogues that sell for about 12 dollars with lots of info
