tell him and save the provocative clothing for when you two start dating.

To answer the way possible it would be helpful to know your age. A 4-6 year difference in age could be huge if you were 14 and he 18+. If you are not of legal age, dont bother with this guy. Statuatory rape is serious. If age is irrelevant, then you should be mature enough to tell him you are interested. If he doesnt reciprocate, move on.
By the way, what is the purpose of provocative dress. It seems to me any woman who truly respects herself doesnt put herself on display to be ogled and looked at by guys who only have one thing on their mind. Your body does not make up your existence, your mind does.

Okay, first off, don't be so desperate. People can smell that sh!t a mile off, and it's a complete turn-off. Second, have you been talking to the guy? Asking him out or anything? Sometimes, guys (and girls) are just incredibly dense about signals. If he doesn't seem interested, though, you may be the one who needs to read signals. If you are pretty sure that he knows you're interested, but he doesn't seem to notice you, then it's time to move on. Give yourself some time to weep along with crappy music, eat chocolate, and whine to your friends, and then find a guy who is interested. You are worth more than to have to throw yourself at a guy, all low-cut top and miniskirt. Find someone who will like _you_.

Believe it or not, there are some guys who do not like girls who wear provocative clothing. Doing so may have caused him to think less of you. You should find out what he is interested in and try to appeal to him in some other way. Just remember, if you try appealling to guys by using sex, you're just going to end up with guys who use you for sex, and don't really care about who you are.

I think you have to resign yourself to the fact that he just isn't interested in you. You don't give your age but if you are a teen or young adult then 4-6 years age difference is a very big gap. He may not be interested in anyone that much younger.
Forget about him and start looking for someone within a year or two of your age.

Trying to get his attention indirectly isn't very effective. You need to be up front and tell him you like him. From my past experience with guys, a lot of them seem to be clueless unless you're direct and forward with them.
If you're not into being so forward (a lot of people aren't) you can still go up to him and try to start a casual conversation by complimenting his outfit or something. Give him your phone number and tell him you want to see him again. Just be friendly and eventually it will turn into something more.

Just be friendly. Say, Hi I'd like to get to know you better. Offer to play a board game with him or Uno. The personality really comes out when you play. If you're out with him in a group sit down and join the group for dinner.

I did this before... I got my best friend to talk to the guy and pretend that she wanted to set us up. If he tells her he isn't interested then she should say something like, "she said she wasn't interested in you either. What's the matter with you two? I don't get it, I think you guys would make a great couple!" Of course if he is interested then she can set you two up. This is the best way to not humiliate yourself if he doesn't like you. I hope this helps!

Well maybe he thinks your to young for him. Or he might have a girlfriend. It depends on your age different since he doesn't want to mess with someone that can get him in trouble. I don't know your age so this could be the case. If that isn't the case you might want to check to find if he has a girlfriend. Or he just might be a little on the shy side. ;o)

You don't say how old you are, but you should not be this desperate to get someone's attention. No one is worth dressing like a slut for - is that really the kind of guy you want? Move on. There are guys out there who will love you for who you are - not for how you dress.
