I think Madonna started the fad a while ago! And yeah they are called 'Tramp Stamps!'

I have a lower back tattoo. I grind my teeth every time I hear Tramp Stamp. I have one there because it's a nice place to have one. Sure it's also a sexy place but you can be sexy without being sleezy. There's a difference. Some people have no class. Get one there if you want one. If someone calls you a tramp say "Jealous"? And wink. haha. Gets 'em every time.

Why do people get tattoos period? I have a rather large red scorpion on my my breast - -it's self expression. Why people get a tattoo a certain place and what it symbolizes to them is different for everyone. I happen to be into astrology and my sign is me. . in Greek mythology the scorpion symbolizes the phoenix rising up from the ashes - which means transformation. In my lifetime no matter what I go through, I always rise to the occasion - and it means so much more than that too.

I got one on my lower back for the sole purpose that it CAN be covered up!!!!!! I get my tattoos for me no one else. In this location it is easy to cover with clothing and not be seen. With my carer they can not be seen so ankle or arms/legs is out of the question. However I say if it is visible and u don't like it don't look.

Sometimes that is where that particular tattoo would look the best. depending on what it is I think it is sexy... not necessarily to look like a porn star or a tramp. And that is also a place that usually only your significant other gets the pleasure of seeing on a regular bases.

I guess the 1st question would be why get one in the 1st place. I have one lol. Its very small. I personally think the back is sexy. Also you can wear almost anythin and it never shows. The only time mine shows in public is in a bathing suit and I think it looks sexy but it all depends on what it is and the size. To each its own, I guess.

I don't know. All I do know is that I'm glad I never got one, because I receive many compliments to the fact. Men I have been with enjoy looking at a smooth, uninterrupted line of back.
