On a couple of occasions i've accidently farted infront of my new boyfriend because i had too much beer(i was sleeping at the time too). Anyway i'm completely humiliated by it enough but he keeps saying little things although he hasnt completely mentioned what happened but he says things like do you suffer with constipation and i felt like dying when he said that. I want to forget about what happened but i dont want to mention to him this embarasing situation, how do i recover from such an embarassing moment.

Just laugh it off. But if it bothers you that much, do one of these:

1. Flip the script- Everytime he brings it up, change the subject to one of his embarrassing moments, and keep laughing at it.

2. Play dumb- Deny it ever happening. Look at him with a straight face, and ask him if he's feeling ok.

3. Lame the situation- Say "You're still laughing at that? Grow up already!" or "Ok it was funny the first time, now it's just getting old."

aww how sweet I remember when me and my hubbie didnt 'trump' infront of each other, it didnt last long only about 3months, then I told himthat if he loved me he has to love my wind too, he was so relieved and we both spent the night farting away.

Only now 6years later he thinks it hilarious to fart and trap me under the duvet.

Dont worry, soon you will know each other well enough to let em rip whenever you feel like it.

Goodluck

This isn't easy to do, but I was in a similar situation and I found that it helped to act like I thought it was funny. If I were you, I'd make some jokes about it. How embarrassing could it be he thinks you find it funny, right? That way, he can't make any more snide little references to it. It worked for me. Good luck!

First of all it is o.k. to let gas out of your system. That wouldn't worry me much, what would worry me is having someone that I can't be myself. Do you feel comfortable with him? Do you love him?? Does he love you??? If you are open to him and he understands he will stop rubbing it, but if he continues I would say the word NEXT and dump him. Why do you want to be with someone that makes fun of you, and doesn't respect you.

You don't need to feel embarrassment, it is quite natural to pass wind. Don't drink so much or so quickly or change your drink to something less gaseous. He can't be much of a friend by teasing you about it.

Why are you embarassed? You should just laugh it off. If he starts teasing you, threaten a repeat performance!

Just laugh- its normal and you're probably doing it more cause your nervous. Sounds like he's having a giggle at it so join in.

Everyone farts one time or another. It happens, and you didn't do it on purpose. So I don't see how you could have helped.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If he doesn't like it, tell him to move on to someone else.
Either that or quit drinking so much.
