One bird (I found it stuck to the front).
One raccoon. That really messed up my car.
Many bugs.
We have lots of deer around here, and I am so afraid this time of year. DVCs (Deer/Vehicle Collisions) are the most frequent wrecks in the newspaper in October/November.

An owl broke the grill and part of my headlight on my 1992 Astro Van. It was dusk on a two lane road, I wasn't sure if I ran over something or what happened but there was no where to pull off for about 2 miles. Finally stopped at a Hardees, there was a butt-end of an OWL sticking out of the front end of my van.

If i know an animal has merely been knocked over, i could provide as much as see if that's stored, yet on your case i could checklist it to the borough's interior reach council authority, as quite some street kill is extremely risk to motorists, no longer basically that, you do no longer know how long they have been there festering with micro organism or maybe illnesses. I did early this twelve months stopped in front of a ineffective cat interior the line which had merely been knocked over by way of a van and he merely sped off, the undesirable cat grew to become into led there with 0.5 its head overwhelmed and blood puring out into the line, I had gloves on and picked it up and placed it in a provider bag, placed it onto this grass verge outdoors a production facility then went domicile to checklist it to the council and it grew to become into bumped off that day. that's extremely frightening to make certain animals killed this way. my own concern is to knock one down at night via fact they only run out from nowhere!

I've somehow managed to hit an owl. I've hit more possum and skunk than I can count. I ran over a snake once. I threw it in reverse so I could hit it twice more. I hate snakes. My daddy hit a deer once too. The coonass threw it in the back of his truck and took it home for us to eat too.

Cat. My daughter cried all the way home, this was at 2 am I didn't need a yowling kid to add to my guilt. My husband notched my fender. I braked for a dog, burned the tires real bad, filled the car with smoke, but the kid didn't howl all the way home for that one.

Unfortunately, while my little grandson was in the car, a fox ran under my back tires, and it's life was ended. My grandson cried and said - "What about his family?" I don't know how he knew it was a male fox, or that the poor thing had a family. But, I did feel really bad.

i live out in the country, and there's lots of animals all over the place. one night, i hit a wild hog that was the size of a baby cow. thankfully, i was in my truck, and all it did was tear up the grill & the driver side fender. if i was in a small car, it would have killed me.
