During your daily bath or shower scrub a pumice stone over well- soaped soles and heels every day. After your bath, slather Vaseline over your feet and focus on your heels. Pull on thick socks.(This works best at night ) In one week, you will feel the smoothness and kick yourself for ever wasting good money on all those commercial preparations.

And please begin to wear slippers or flipflops indoors to keep your feet from growing rough and calloused. Why,have you anything against them?

KEEP ITR REAL :-)

I do this every day of my life, and it works totally:
after a shower, when feet are dried off, lay a thick layer of Petroleum Jelly on your heels then slide into cotton socks
I do this at bedtime too, and sleep in them.
When the roughness on your heels is repaired (a few days) you can resort to doing this only at bedtime.
Good luck

The ONLY thing that's ever worked for me is the Burt's Bee's Coconut Foot Cream. Put it on each night with a pair of socks and in a few days you won't believe the difference!! I promise!!

I work for a foot doctor and we get this question often. You can use a pumice stone (found at your local Wal-Mart) and I like Bag Balm. I'd use the pumice stone in the shower, rub on the Bag Balm at night and wear socks to let it soak in. Hope that helps.

Put Vaseline on them every night and then put socks on. When they are no longer rough, you can lightly use an emery board on them. Every night thereafter, keep putting either Vaseline or a rich moisturizer on them to keep them soft and smooth.

Do you have a dog? let him/her lick your feet while you're watching your most favorite television show. Or..if you have a fishbowl, dip your feet in to ti and let the fish swim over it. it works wonders!
