JEALOUSY.

Because they like their male friends, more then just a friend but mostly they are to afraid to tell their male friend that they want more then just a friendship. Sometimes when a women get bitchey is because they don't like the girls her male friend goes out with, so they try to break them up so she can have a chance to have him. But she may never let her male friend know that she likes him.

They feel threatened- you might become less interested in them.

Anyways, I don't believe that true male-female friendships exist like they do between people of the same sex- someone always wants to pump the other one!

One of two reasons. They like you or they think of you like their brother and want to protect you. Also women know when you get into a relationship the other woman might not like us being friends.

Have you ever been intimate with the friend that gets bitchy. Maybe she is jealous. If not of the other girl, but of the time with you she loses to the other girl.
