Well, we are partial, but say GMC. My husband worked at GM for thirty-something years and so we have always had GM vehicles. We have always had dependable, well made cars and trucks.

I must disagree.
Go to a rodeo, or a cattle auction, or some other event where people that actually use and abuse their trucks go.
What kind of trucks do you see?
I only see Fords and Dodges. Just don't go bothering with a gas powered truck. Diesel is just plain better. More low end power, more torque, and way better gas milage.
Another thing. Look at most of the US ambulances. Every one I've seen is a Ford. Does that say anything?

Well, GMC (and for that matter Chevy) trucks last the longest according to mechanics. We checked into it prior to buying our Z71 Silverado.
