I'm kind friends with a guy who I like and I know he likes me but we've agreed not to have anything serious. However, he showed me his phone so I could read a text message from his mate, then he told me to scroll down to see the other one he sent and I saw text messages from other women saying "Hey Sexy....etc" It's like he was doing it on purpose. He is trying to make me jealous? Also he talks about other random women in the past that he was dating. What do you make of this? He's 38, I'm 22.

Why are you interested in a 38 year old? I'm almost 22 and was dating-almost married-a guy 14 years older than me-- not the best idea. Why dont you meet guys your own age? Or maybe stick to the under 30's? People say age is just a number-i know, but even if he is interested, why is a 38 year old interested in a 22 year old? No offense to you

If he's 38 dating a 22 yr old he obviously just likes showing off. He just wants you to think he's cool because I'm sure he feels unsure of himself. You should ditch him and try a guy closer to your own age.

Honestly, I think that you're too young for this guy. He probably is trying to make you jealous but those are games that immature men play. I mean he's already 38, he should grow up already. Don't even bother with him.

Don't waste your time with him, all he wants with you is sex. He's 38 and you're 22? Been there. I was 21 and dated a 36 year old and it was solely about sex. Find someone closer to your age who you can really connect with.

He trying to see how much you like him or want him. If you show that you are jealous then he'll know that you want him. Because the way it sounds is as if he wants you.
