If you have a place you can go to, pack up your belongings when he's not around and leave. Leaving when he is not around is far better and you'll be able to get out of the house with no problems.

You are not stuck in a relationship whether you are married or not. You have free will and can walk away anytime you want to. Just go! As for his temper, you have a choice of leaving when you know he won't be around--maybe take a little of your things out at a time--or if you are leaving and he puts his hands on you call the police and press assault charges--or--tell the cops that you are in a volatile relationship that you want to leave and you feel you would be harmed and arrange for an escort to pick up your belongings. Sounds as though I am experienced right? Well I am. Get out and don't look back. Your life will be that better for it.

If you live with him, find a place to stay contact the local police and have them present when you get ALL your stuff out of the house. You do not need a reason to go back! If you aren't living together, take him to a public place and explain that you don't want to have anymore contact with him. Arrange to meet friends or family after this meeting just in case his "temper" decides to kick in. If he won't leave you alone, get a restraining order and if there is a situation where he hurts you, go to the police so that you have it on record. Good Luck

get the courage 1st to tell him you want out. and when you do it make sure you have a safe person with you ( in another room or very close by) that will be willing to help you if the situation becomes physical on his part.

just drop him, if he has a temper there is no way to do this in a kind way, atleast in his eyes, drop him like he is hot and get a restraining order.

Leave and have no contact with the person. If he continues to harrass you, get a restraining order.

Call the Battered Womens Shelter in your area. Don't have one? Call your Emergency Room, they have all the contacts you will need. GOOD LUCK, GRUMPY.
