They make the same thing as anyone else with the same rank and time in grade. That's what all military pay is based on. However, they get special duty pay, just like Drill Sergeants do. That extra pay is basically for the time apart and extended hours. They don't work a typical 40 hour week, although many in the Army don't. However, there's alot more hours and demand on you as a Recruiter or Drill Sergeant. There's no incentive pay or bonus pay for getting people to enlist though.

They make the same as anyone else in the Army except they get a bonus for being on special duty. In the Marines it's $150 extra a month. I don't know what it is in the Army. Also, they will probably make a bit more COLA (Cost of Living Allowance) since most likely they will be working near some sort of city instead of living on a base.

Most Recruiters are E6 or E7 with a good amount of years in....So let say about 40 to 50k's, plus some sort of recruiter bonus. I'm moving and I already packed my ArmyTimes PayBook but I'm pretty sure those are the right numbers.

Every 20 recruits he puts in he gets a coffee pot. j/k

alot of people think that recruiters get paid extra but they dont. It all goes by your rank. Matter of fact when it comes to Army and Marine recruiters half of them dont even like the job and they didnt sign up for it. They were forced to do it.

How much a recruiter makes can vary significantly. His rank, time in service, location, and special duty pay can all affect what he makes.

I think it's $250 more than someone is his same pay grade and marital status. They get paid more because (most of them) work a whole lot more.
