Just exactly what level are you talking about after 4 years ????

What level are you on now? I don't quite understand the question. Usually relationships work like this - you date for a while, enjoying a friendship, then you get to like each other/or not, so then you find out that you actually love each other/or not, and if you love each other and know each other, which by now you should, you get married. Or not.

If by going to the "next level" you mean having sex, I have this to say:

It's not something you plan, it sort of just happens. I mean, it's like you wake up one morning and suddenly you get this urge to be more demonstrative, more affectionate, more passionate.

Each passing day in your relationship is a step forward, and having weathered four years is a rarity nowadays. Don't plan. Just savor each day as it comes. Take every waking moment as if it were your first day together.

Well that depends on where you guys are at right now... Are you living together? If not try that for a while. If you are living together then the obvious next steps would be marriage, a family things like that.
