Why dont you try to put it default. Then start Netscape (it will ask you for be set as default) set it default. Does it bother so much anyway?

Shouldn't cause a conflict. Usually when a browser starts for the first time it will ask you if you would like to make it the default browser and have a check box of some sort to make the browser check if its the default everytime it starts up. To keep IE from making it the default, don't use IE.

You should NOT have a conflict. Netscape will detect that you have another brower on your system and will ask you if you wnat it (netscape) to be the default browser (the primary one you will use). That will resolve ANY conflict. I have 2 browsers on my pc, my fiance has 3. No issues. Just respond to that question and you'll never see it again.

Nope! Its not a matter of default either....When you log on to the net, either choose the explorer or navigator icon.

you could rename iexplore.exe and then it would not run as default
netscape should give you the option to set as default browser though
