what is a better investment, 18 inch rims or a system for about the same price?

System!! You can save up for rims while listening to your favorite songs on your nice new stereo. You can enjoy your stereo more than your rims... not only can you and your friends listen to your new stereo but, you can also show it off! =D

a system. consider this: will you be able to enjoy 18 inch rims while you are driving? if u hav a system u can constantly enjoy it. rims is the next step up though.

system. rim attact attention to your car, and yell "steal me". with a system, unless your a idiot that has nothing but bass going all the time, in places where people like to steal things, you wont have any trouble. not to mention rims can throw off your speedimetor, and your odomitor

Nothing to do with a car is an "investment" you'll never get all the money out of it. Unless it's a hot rod car.( an old car) But if it were my choice i'd choose rims.. if you have the tires cause those will cost ya. What kind of car is it? beat is lame anymore, I hardly ever see people with beat anymore. it's for teenagers.

I would buy the system for sure, you will get more appreciation because you can use the radio, but just look @ the wheels!!!!!
