He has chopped lips? Who's the resident butcher?
Seriously, apply some neosporin to the lip.

What did you do ,chop up his lips? Just kidding ,use Vaseline and
have him drink plenty of water every day, that keeps the chap
lip moist. As well as your rest of your body.

That sounds serious. Get him to a doctor for proper treatment. In the meantime put on some petroleum jelly or a good chapstick.

Apply antibiotic ointment severa times a day.
Once healed, teach your son to use a lip balm to avoid re-chapping.

chapped lips are caused by mostly lack of moisture and also because they are so dry, you sometimes bite them. make sure he drinks plenty of water, also try chapstick with moisturizer. you should put it on him especially when he goes outside and at night. if he is young, he may wipe or lick of the chapstick, although you can certainly put it on during the day also, but at night it may have a better chance of staying on. good luck!

Don't use chapstick. It's too waxy. Use Vasoline or something similar. Ask your Pharmacist. When the lips are healed, then let him use chapstick. The waxy stuff won't heal.
