It has been about 3 weeks now, I know I should get something for my car, how long does it normally take to reciece a check?

Hard to say without knowing what stage you're in. Have you accepted the total loss offer? You need to call and find out what is holding things up. Total loss settlements can drag on if there is a problem with titles for example. They can sometimes take over 30 days to resolve. You just need to call and find out.

That's going to depend upon your insurance company and the local laws regulating insurance in your area. After three weeks, i would be on the phone with my claims agent everyday asking about the check.

I had mine from Farmers in ten days. I would get on the phone with the adjuster and see what was up.

It took about a month to get mine.
