Offer your condolences, no matter if he survived or didn't, and ask if there is anything that you can do, or anything that you could get for them. And you could also send some Masculie flowers and a card to the hospital for the dad. Just let your friend know that you are there for them. That is the best thing that you could do. When my mom almost died when I was in fifth grade, NONE of my friends cared, so I hope that my advice helps you to do what my friends didn't.

From experience (my dad had a heart transplant) the best thing you can do is be available to listen. Take your friend out for tea/coffee, or take one to their house. Offer to do anything you can think of to help the family (they will be spending time at the hospital - offer to walk their dog, feed their cat, pick up milk for them, make a casserole, etc). Most of all just let your friend know that you care and wish all the best for her.

My friends dad had a heartattack and she had to pick up medicine and food. So ask your friend if you can tag along if she has to run errands. Tell your friend that you understand that they are going through a rough time (Their dad almost died!) and that if anything is needed you will be able to help.

I always make an offer of help. If you need anything, please let know. Some people don't mind being asked how they are doing constantly after a sickness or injury, but others just want to be left alone. And, I'll let them know how happy I am to have them in my life.

You tell them how sorry you are and that you are there for them if they need someone to talk to or just be with. If you believe in a higher power you can offer prayers. Mostly when something bad happens people just need their friends to be there for them...what you say is not important, your love will show through.

If he's still alive, ask what the hospital did to help him - clot-busting drugs or surgery. This will start a conversation where you can show that you care.

Quick dial 911, just kidding, i guess you are trying to ask what do you say after the father has suffered a heart attack and survived? I would just ask how he is doing, and say you are sorry, and you are thinking or praying for her and her family. God bless

Tell her you're sorry to hear what happened to her dad and you're here to support her by listening or helping out wherever you can.
