The statistical possibility is 75% male, 25% female. The statistical possibility of a human birth being male or female is 50%-50%. So there are plenty of female orange cats and more of them will probably be male. It's a roll of the genetic dice.

We had a litter of four orange girls at the shelter once.

Most, but not all.

I've worked in a shelter for 13 years. Trust me - there are orange/ginger females.

The founder of FCFD (friends of cats, friends of dogs) that is a no-kill shelter in Birmingham, AL INSISTS that all orange tabbies are male.... and seeing as though she has seen litteraly hundreds of cats, she is most likely correct :)
