Go to www.download.com

Search for 'active@kill disk 1.1' and click on the name to read the description of this program and understand what it does.
Then download the file, it runs in the command prompt DOS mode.

When you turn the PC on, press F8. When the menu comes up, select 'Command Prompt' then it should go into DOS. Type C: then type format.

you have to format the hard drive, which will probably not be possible to do while useing an operating system. Put in your OS's cd which should probably have instructions on what to do.
