OH the drama, I have 3 girls ages 3, 7, and 10. Drama is just in there blood. I would suggest set rules, and enforce them. Punish her for breaking your rules. Take away bikes, IPODs, or other favorite stuff, Ground her, don't forget about spankings (she's not to old) spanking are best for geting my girls back on track when there way off.

Good Luck

It will stop and it will seem far away one day.
Sometimes reverse actions help, but that is a last resort.

We think at times that they are not listening when we are talking but they hear.
I have raised two children to adulthood. ages 27 and 30 and now I have a 6 and 8 yr old.

Pick a time when you are not fighting a good time would be when she has done something very mature.

Explain to her that some responsibilites have nothing to do with picking up her room etc.
Explain that growing up means other types of resposiblities.
Explain that there are "Lifeskill" responsibilites such as Integrity (to act according to a sense of what's right and wrong) and Cooperation, to work together toward a common goal or purpose and that her behavior is improving.. if the moment is right maybe laugh together at her silly before behavior and help put her above and past that old behavior of the Drama Queen!
"Isn't it nice when we can talk about something" , "you are using good cooperation skills.
A part of Lifelong self responsiblity Lifeskills is Active Listening skills. and no one can listen in the middle of a Drama Queen fit.
She will learn, just keep being a loving and kind and calm Mother, never stop praying.

Whoa. first of all, height has no longer something to do with age. An 11 year previous is nowhere close to the actual or emotional adulthood of a 14 year previous. maximum male 11 year olds have not reached puberty yet. this could nicely be a situation that could desire to for sure be perceived as sexual abuse, no remember how lots the 11 year previous could look consenting. In a be conscious, particular, it quite is undesirable. and you may get as far far flung from this occasion as achievable formerly you finally end up with a juvenile intercourse criminal label you heavily isn't waiting to be rid of.

you now know the reason they have convents, congrats ;-)

I saw my sister transform into this creature you are describing, and it wasn't until she was out on her own that she grew out of it. I've heard of it happening before HS graduation with some of the lucky parents tho. However, I think they did some things to circumvent it, such as laying down the law and sticking to it and ignoring all of the drama tantrums.

She is still at a wonderful and tender age where she can be molded. This is your opportunity to talk to her and explain to her how these actions are not acceptable. If after you fully explain to her how you feel and she continues, I recommend what the bible says: SPARE THE ROD, SPOIL THE CHILD........in essence, BEAT THAT TAIL and make her understand your point better!

Most likely it will stop when it doesn't get her the attention she wants from it.

By paying attention to her you are reinforcing the behavior. Ignore it and pay attention to her when she behaves right and reinforce good behavior.
