The electronic programme guide (EPG) has stopped displaying any programme information - it just says 'no event information' for all of the channels available. I can't find anything in the onscreen menus to fix this and retuning hasn't helped. Is this some kind of fault or is there a way to switch this information back on?

Chrisbell is correct in part but the method he describes is for a Sky box not a Freeview box.
Two possibilities for Freeview ...
1. With the unit powered up and the LED showing green, press the power button on the front of the unit and keep it held until the LED turns orange - release and allow to go into standby (LED goes red) - power up and retry.
2. Leave it in standby overnight for an 'over air download' to upgrade the software. If memory serves me right it should be Version 1.12.3 - don't worry about the Loader version.
Any further probs, get in touch.

hi...you need to update the software for the didgibox...so, here is how to do that.

first...find the 'backup' button on the front of your digibox.

next...press that button in and hold it in, and pull out the power lead on the back of your digibox

then...while still holding that 'back up' button in, plug the power lead back into the digibox.

now you will see on your tv screen a message saying that the software is being updated...and this normally takes between 3-10 minutes.

once that has completed your digibox will go into standby, so then just switch it back on with your 'sky' button and you will find everything will work as it should again.

finally...it is best to do a software update every 'month'...and in this way you will keep your digibox working at optimum.

hope this helps...good luck

We replaced from Sky to BT inventive and prescient and as much as i admire having the flexibility to video show an entire sequence in one night if i %. to there are channels I bypass over like the sci-fi. You do get the programmes you're in a position to discover on there yet now and back a sequence or 2 on the back of. For the childrens although this is great. at recent i'm going to video show the full of the 1st sequence of Rome and The Tudors or sequence 6 of Spooks to call a minute few. there are a number of Discovery and historic previous programmes too. i recently signed up for a 2d 3 hundred and sixty 5 days so won't have the skill to be too undesirable as i admire my television tube.
