Out of the 1,144 crimes reported 57.7 were against Hispanics and 42.3 were against other perceived Nationalities/Ethnicities.

Hard to say. Since people hate the illegal immigrants, and they don't tend to wear signs indicating whether they are legal or not, most people just hate in general. So, in a sense, it is because of illegal immigration... The growing trend of it is the base for most Latino hate.

Yes and no. Yes because awareness of hispanics have gone up due to the fact that this whole immigration things has escalated but no because if your part of a gang (of any race) there tends to be a lot of tension and the two ethnic group with the most mouth is black and hispanics. Therefore I believe that a lot of hate crimes are gang related and the others yes having to do with being Illegal.

There is a simple way, ASK them, LOOK at their Resident Alien card, LISTEN to their story, if it doesn't match up, you have an illegal alien.

in Texas we ask to see proof of vehicle insurance, thats a pretty easy way to tell the difference between an ILLEGAL and one who is here LEGALLY
