16 week old. No one should be able to purchase a 7 week old puppy because they still need to be with their mothers. To the best of my knowledge, both puppies and kittens cannot be sold if they are younger then 8 weeks.

As long as the 7 week old puppy has been weaned from its mother, then you can choose either one - it's just a matter of preference.

I've had a few dogs in my lifetime. We got the first puppy when she was 10 weeks old and had her for 15 years. The dog I currently have was 7 weeks old when we picked her up. Both were great dogs, were housebroken within a week, and responded to training really well. Those 9 weeks don't make that much of a difference because they're so young.

If I ever had a chance at a dog I would get the 16 week old one... Because that puppies are really hard to take care of until they grow up... Because they need the attention from the owner and they need training...A LOT OF THAT.... But if you are rich enough you could get the 7 week old puppy and take him/her to get professional training until the puppy is big enough to be on his own....

Get an the 16 week old puppy. The longer a puppy can be with its mother (for nursing) the better.

a puppy can leave it mother at 7 weeks old!!
As long as you train it 1 2 1 and treat it right then you wil have no probs!!
It will cry for a few nights jsut like ne baby does away from its mother but it will soon clam down!!!
16 weeks old is also an ok age..once again u jsut need to give it the 1 2 1 it needs!

Since puppies shouldn't leave their litter until at least 8 weeks, I'd go for the 16 week old.

You can't get a 7 week old puppy because it physically needs to be with it's mother. At east 8-9 weeks old, maybe even ten weeks old.

16 Week old. I belive that it is illegal for a person to be able to purchase a puppy under 8 weeks old. It has not had just enough time to be weaned from the mother.

I would get a 7 week old puppy because they are cuter if you think that its hyper wait until its a little over a year they are even hyperer so the 16 week one is probably more hyper, it depends what type the dog is

A puppy is a puppy is a puppy. If you get the 7 week old he will soon be 16 weeks and you have the same reality, which is they chew, eat, poop and speep. Emphasis on chew.
