I ended it with a guy I was dating for awhile because he ended up having very little time for me... he admitted that he didn't have the time right now to put into our relationship (busy 24/7 with college). I told him I respected that, but that I needed more...
Anyhow, I got an e-mail from him that said that he just wishes that he had given me a bigger hug....
I don't understand what he means by this?

He misses you because that last hug he gave you makes him think about you and how he doesn't have you any more.

He misses you and doesn't want to let go, but he already told you that he doesn't have the time for you. You should mail him back depending on how you feel: if you still want him then you need to let him know that if he wants that hug he needs to find a way to make time for you because yes you are that important and if he can't find that time for you then sorry but hes just not that into you, if it really doesn't matter to you then you should just maintain a friendship with him. Its tough but based on how far you want to take the relationship thats how strong you have to be!! good luck!!

Well, I am a guy, and have had somethign similar, Basically if you were having sex... this means he wants to stay good enough friends to have sex... so he don't have to go lookign for a new girl to have sex with. But he doesn't wanna commit.
