I watched Dateline the other night and they rounded up 135 predators from the Internet. Of course, they were trying to hook up with a 13 year old girl and most of them said they were 13 or 14. Turns out they were all ages from 23 to 48 and even included a prominent doctor. And a lot of them were married and had kids. The moral of this story is that you don't know who you are communicating with and you should end it. It's a total waste of time at best and could lead to heartache and who knows what else at worst. Now I know a few people have met their husbands online but the chances are so slim you would be better off dating local guys.

totally. I met my finacee and fell in love with him online. But I wouldn't do anything too rash lik egetting engaged before you can be together in person for a while-- it's a trip, getting used to the physicality of a person. But you can fall in love with a person's spirit, their soul, and as long as they're being honest with you over the net (always possible to lie!) their spirit is the same as when they're with you in person.

Of course not...there's too much you cannot know about one another...you may be attracted to the person you think you know, but not love...chances are, he's not someone you'd want to be with if he were local.
