Do It!!! You would be surprised. Dentistry is not painful like it was years ago. I have a client that is a dentist. I went to him cause I had not been to the dentist in eleven years due to fear. I was suprised how things had changed. No pain (and I mean NO PAIN) at all.
Treat yourself to a new you! You are young and deserve it! And....stay off the drugs....not worth it. Life has a lot you are missing out on.

Well it depends on how bad your teeth are and how much money you want to spend. I have a friend who had the same problem. He went to the dentist and just had all the rotten teeth yanked out and went with dentures. That is the cheapest thing to do. Dentures aren't that bad. He got used to them. If you have some money to burn then you can get veneers, caps and crowns. Veneers are what a lot of the movie stars have. They are porcelain covers that go over your original teeth. They look fabulous but, they are big money. Anyway, your best bet if you don't have a lot of money is to just yank them and use dentures. Make an appointment with a cosmetic dentist for a consultation. It usually doesn't cost anything for the initial consultation. They will give you and idea of what they can do with your budget. I hope this helps. Good luck and take care.

Congratulations on getting over everything! You can definitely look the same as you did, or even better if you want to!
There are so many things that can be done now, including dental implants. I know that sounds scary, but the results are absolutely amazing - try looking at this site for pictures: http://www.advanceddentistry.co.uk/
If the thought of the dentist is still making you nervous, you could try a holistic dentist, they offer alternative relaxation therapies. Failing that, a lot of dentists can now put you under general anaesthetic, so you just wake up when the work is done!
There is also a dental phobia sopprt forum on this site: http://www.dentalfearcentral.org/
The best of luck with it all, I hope you get the smile of your dreams!

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you got over the drug abuse. The dentist will either put a big crown in your mouth or insert dentures. But getting that looks better and will only be to your advantage. You would look better with false teeth than no teeth. Besides false teeth have improved so much they appear as real teeth.

First, congratulations on recovery!!!
Second, definitely go to the dentist. If you don't have a lot of money there are sometimes programs with local collages to have a student about to graduate practice a procedure on you and you get it done free. I am actually about to call my local collage to set an appointment up. I need an implant. So good luck with that and definitely don't hesitate any longer. Your beautiful smile awaits!!!

With all of the new dental technology you will definitely get your beautiful smile back, with little pain. The sooner you get that taken care of the better. The longer you wait the worse off you are. Good luck girl!
