i think that if you dad does not treat you good that first forgive him and move on and yes if you more comfortable with her go for it, but don't hat your dad parents mess up all the time they have allot more problems than we know and they have to pay for what they do especially to their children so still love him that's your part good luck

This is something that you should really think about. Talk to your mom and see what she has to say. You're saying that your dad is an a** and you're not considering living with him. Do you want to try and have a relationship with your father? If so, try to work on that. Since your mom is asking you to sign your rights to her, that means that you will have absolutely nothing to do with your father and your mom is the primary caregiver. It is all up to you and do what is in YOUR best interest, NOT your mother's. I hope this helps. Good luck.

first of all your parents shouldnt pit you against the other if you do not feel the need to be with your dad that is fine but your mom should not pressure you to make an enormous decision like this you should be happy to do simple things like going to school having friends eating your favorite snacks those should be your worries parents sometimes dont realize what they do to their children and the stress they place upon them if you feel in your heart that you want to do this make it your choice and dont be influenced by anyone else take care and hang in there

ok first of all...you have no rights to sign over. if you are under 18 you are property of your parents. although, if you are over the age of 12, you can specify who you wish to live with. the only person who can give up his/her rights to you is a parent with the other parents consent.
my advice...don't let your parents put you in the middle of their problems. your father may be an ***...but he is still your father. don't choose sides...everyone grows up and its up to us whether we want a relationship with our parents as an adult...and its up to us to define that relationship. for now....just be a kid.

So your basic question is that your dad is a d*ck to you and you wanna be with your sister, whom is with your dad... The choice is yours to make you have to consider which is more inportant to you, the love you share for your sister or the hatred you have for your father!?

Go with your heart, it is a crying shame that kids are always the victims of a divorce. I hate it when parents use their children as pawns.
