They just look different because different types of hens lay them. I get your analogy.

I can tell you the difference between a white egg and a brown egg. White hens lay white eggs while the brown hens lay brown eggs. If hatched, white egg will produce a white chick and brown egg will produce brown chick. Yes, the taste of both the types of eggs is almost the same, which means that there is slight difference in the taste too.
You can have blind faith on what I said but to have a blind faith in some religion is ignorance. I hope I have solved the problem of your inquiring mind.

So you've been reading Gulliver's travels.
Look, once you assume a creating God exists, who wants to be in a relationship with His human creation, then your beliefs about him and about a relationship with Him become important.
Whether God is like the Hindu gods, like the Mohammedan Allah, or whether He is the God of the Bible, Father of Jesus Christ, really does make a tremendous difference.
My relationship with my children has been affected over the years by how they perceived me. How much more with God? It's really not like brown and white eggs, or whether you open eggs from the small end or the big end.
If you don't believe, then even your question loses its importance.

The only difference is the color of hen that lays the egg. Brown hens lay brown eggs, white hens lay white eggs.

All religions lead to God right? wrong.
What if the one religion says that you need work to go to heaven (Mormonism, Islam, ...), another says that faith will earn you eternal life (pretty much just Christianity)?
What if one says that Satan is a God (Mormonism), and another that he is an angel (Christianity)?
What if they all say that the others are wrong?
I hope I nailed what you were asking.
