Just about everyone currently running for any office has vowed to cut off the free handouts illegals are sneaking over the border to get. No more free welfare, medical cards, WIC or Spanish in schools. I predict that within the next 4 years we will see illegals sneaking back to their own country with their tails between their legs when they realize there is not going to be any more free ride here for them. When legal status becomes a requirement and fake documents no longer are accepted to get a job here, they won't stay. We won't have to deport them. They will understand that they can stay home and stay poor instead of coming here to remain poor. Hasta la vista illegals.

We've got 20 years of bad border policy to make up for, here. This isn't going to be an overnight thing, and it'll likely make a lot of people mad. Nonetheless, illegal immigration's an issue that needs to be handled the right way, effectively, professionally, humanely, and better sooner rather than later. Write your congressman/city council etc., and tell em you support good legislation on the border issue to prevent illegal immigration.

So are all the politicians saying that cause from what I hear some want them to stay but for our sake I hope your right. If we ut out the need then there will be less demand dont supply jobs to Illegals they come here to look for jobs. Simple economics

I would only hope it goes so smoothly. Unfortunatly there is a very hostile group that could care less about jobs or anything else except venting hatred and destroying anything white, european and English.
