Just tell him... I was the first to say it in my relationship. We were riding in his car after we went to see a movie and I leaned over, wrapped my arm in his and said it. He didn't say anything back so I just dropped it. That next night when we were together, he took my hands, looked me in the eyes and asked if I remembered what I had said to him the night before (refering to the I love you) I told him I did and he said I love you too. He explained to me that he didn't say anything because it caught him off guard and he couldn't sleep that night thinking about the look on my face when he dropped me off at my house. I told him that on our 2 month anniversary. A lot of people say that that was way to soon, but honestly I felt it in my heart. We have been going out for 6 months and I still feel the way I did when we first got together, only stronger. So go for it. If you feel its right, I mean honestly, do you REALLY want to let this moment pass you by and then suddenly one day realize that he doesn't love you and you've just wasted time on him? keep me updated and GOOD LUCK!

if you have been together for a year then it shouldnt be that big a deal.

you know that its not like you are rushing in saying it.

I think if you wanted you could say it when u were drunk (although it may not sound too serious)

I think it would be easy when your both relaxed, if you are that worried you can say I love that about you just to test the water...

but after a year, I think he know. and if he hasnt said it yet either then he's worrying about how to say it to you too.

enjoy it hes not gonna leave you for saying it.

could u imagine.. "honey I love you"

partner: "Ohh thats it, Ive had it up to here with you first dinner now you love me, well Im outta here!"

its not going to happen like that.

enjoy it... you little love bird

How do you feel? Do you want to tell him? or do you think you should? If you feel that way just say it. If he is a man he will say it back to you. Love is....
If everyone in the world lived by the golden rule(treat people the way you would like to be treated)(do unto others as you would like done to yourself) what a great world this would be.

Make it special. If you have been together for a year he is probably feeling the same thing. Tell him when you two are close together and being intimate with each other.

You simply say...I Love you.

But make sure its the right time. Dont do it in public or when he's watching sports, or with any male friends. Don't do it in bed either.

Also, be atleast 95% sure he will say it back.

Wait for him to tell you that he loves you, or if you can't wait because he may never say it, then ask him if he loves you. If he says no then you will save yourself from you saying you love him and then he says he doesn't love you. But if he says yes then you can say you love him too, just don't act like you won the lottery if he says yes, just stay calm. But really it's better to ask because it's harder for guys to say "I Love You" than it is for girls to say it.
