Nothing happens to your t.v,just you. You'll end up going to court, and either receive a £1000 fine,or end up in prison.(which is a joke, because all we ever see is repeats, reality programmes(if you can call them that).my husband works with several producers for the bbc,and even they say the liscence is wrong as 90% of the programmes are rubbish

You should seek legal advice NOW but you do not have to let anyone into your home or even answer the door to anyone, especially if they are after money or something. If a bailiff comes to your door, DO NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING FROM THEM as they will inform the Courts that you were served and you won't really have a leg to stand on. They will have to push it through a letter box or under your door if you havent taped up the box and under your door. Also don't leave any windows open as they will throw the court order/papers through an open window and swear blind they served you the papers. They must not gain entry to your property. Even if your renting a TV or a SKY box or something or somebody has lent you a fridge or whatever, they won't care about that or any fake or real tears you put on. They will take your property and auction it off a.s.a.p. to settle the debt. Simply go to Court and show the Judge all your other debts, etc. Usually an order will be made against you but you end up paying back the bare minimum - sometimes something like £5.00 per week (especially if your on benefits) Your debtors (the b.a.s.t.a.r.d.s. chasing you) cannot do anything whilst you pay this money. Good luck!

My wife takes care of that, I'm sure she has paid it, she's very responsible. After we got married and I moved to the UK full time, someone told me about this TV licence, I thought they were putting me on, it's the most rediculous thing I've ever heard of. We don't have TV licence in Canada, I think it's just another way for the gov't to suck up your hard earned pounds, that seems to be all their good at, TAX TAX TAX.

You will be taken to court and be fined, which means you will have more money problems if you don't pay. It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with the TV licence you still have to pay up or get locked up. Sorry!!

no longer lots will take place to her, you are able to pass somewhat an prolonged time without a liscence. she would be able to merely save getting reminder letters and then somebody will come to her domicile. If she nevertheless would not pay they might take her to courtroom and he or she would be able to be fined.
